DEB SHEBISH, Classic String’s violinist , owner, and event coordinator, is a versatile violinist with over 25 years of experience coordinating and performing for weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions. She holds a Masters Degree in Scottish Studies from the University of Edinburgh, UK and a Bachelors of Music in violin performance from Indiana State University. In addition to her classical playing, Deb is also a dynamic and nuanced fiddler who plays both Irish and old-time music. Her playing conveys the distinctive style of each with an effortless mastery and infectious joy.

Deb's versatility as a musician is apparent from the variety of her audiences and venues including Nashville's Ryman Auditorium with Mairead Ni Mhaonaigh and Ivan Goff, the United States Air Force Academy, Villanova University for the Irish Ambassador to the US, the Kelly House in Philadelphia for the Prince of Monaco, and opened for Ray Charles as part of the Gary Civic Orchestra. She has performed at numerous festivals in the US and worldwide, including Ireland's Waterford Tall Ships Festival, Bangor, Maine's Celtic Crossroads Festival, and the Leith Folk Club in Scotland. Her teaching experience includes the Indianapolis Symphony's Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, St. Mary of the Woods College, the School District of Philadelphia, the Banjo Fiddle Frolic, the Philadelphia Ceili Festival, and RJ Reynolds Arts Magnet High School in Winston Salem.
